What is a Certified Celebrant?

A celebrant is a person who has been trained and certified to help individuals plan and present personalized memorial, celebration of life, and funeral services.

Why Have A Celebrant?

There are a variety of reasons to choose a celebrant that may include

To provide a valuable source for healing in the lives of grieving families

To provide a personalized memorial or funeral service to acknowledge the individual

To provide the option of either a religious or non-religious service

To help the family and friends to share and provide support for each other

What will a Celebrant do for me?

A Celebrant will meet with the family to offer guidance and consulting while planning a personalized and meaningful funeral to honour the loved one. Whenever possible, the Celebrant will also have a Family Time for sharing of stories and memories. A Celebrant has a wide library of resources for readings, music and other special ceremonies to help the family design a service that honours the life. The Celebrant will work directly with the funeral director on the arrangements and elements of the service. Celebrants are dedicated to the concept of providing a tribute that reflects the lifestyle and beliefs of the individual.

Who is a Celebrant?

Daniel B. Stockbridge is a trained and certified celebrant. He has been assisting families with both religious and non-religious services for the past few years. His compassion and attention to detail have made his services a celebration of life and comfort to families.

Our chapel offers a comfortable gathering place for family and friends for a Celebration of Life Service. We offer a family atmosphere with a cozy fireplace and enough space for families and friends to share in the individualized memorial celebration.

Dan can also celebrate services in alternate locations. Assistance can be given to make arrangements for locations like parks, beaches or cemeteries.

Daniel Stockbridge is experienced in assisting families in their time of grief and transition. His services include honoring the lifestyle and beliefs of the individual, coordinating speakers, allowing sharing of memories, assisting the family with the funeral arrangements and providing resources for a service that will be a comfort and an honor.

Memorial Photo DVD's -

Honor your loved one with a personalized photo DVD of their lifetime and create a keepsake for your

family for generations. Simply collect a variety of photos (about 25-30), some favorite music and let us create a Memorial Photo DVD for you to share and treasure.

We offer a 50' flat screen display to share your loved one's memories. This can be displayed during visiting hours and also for a Celebration of Life Service.
